I'm the hero of this story, I don't need to be saved.
Forever curious, intolerably charming & a girl with lots to say. A home wrecker with a heart of gold. I have horrendous taste in the opposite sex, but my pick of the female form is second-to-none. A 23 year old wanderer, who is not lost.

I have been meaning to read this book since I first heard of Sylvia Plath, and it was every bit as wonderful as I imagined. I was left feeling helpless, empty, and exquisite. I imagine that was the point. Some of my favourite quotations included;
“If neurotic is wanting two mutually exclusive things at one and the same time, then I’m neurotic as hell. I’ll be flying back and forth between one mutually exclusive thing and another for the rest of my days.”
“When they asked me what I wanted to be I said I didn’t know.
“Oh, sure you know,” the photographer said.
“She wants,” said Jay Cee wittily, “to be everything”
“But when it came right down to it, the skin of my wrist looked so white and defensless that I couldn’t do it. It was as if what I wanted to kill wasn’t in that skin or the thin blue pulse that jumped under my thumb, but somewhere else, deeper, more secret, and a whole lot harder to get.”
“Whenever I’m sad I’m going to die, or so nervous I can’t sleep, or in love with somebody I won’t be seeing for a week, I slump down just so far and then I say: ‘I’ll go take a hot bath.”
